Mr. Dobson is a 23 year veteran of NM law enforcement and retired as a Captain Commander. He has extensive knowledge in security and disaster response and deployed to the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Charley, and the Iowa floods
of 2008. He has a Master’s Degree in Public Safety/Emergency Management from Capella University.
He was also certified as a general police instructor through the NMLEA and specialties for Critical Incident Management, Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations, and the Incident Command System.
During his career, he served in many agency functions, to include Field Training Officer, Investigations, SWAT, Hazardous Materials/WMD coordination, training
promotional assessment design and implementation, internal investigations, and emergency planning/supervision of high profile events.
He has participated extensively in international law enforcement training, and helps the Global One team in many areas of instruction.
Governor/Agency appointed representative to many national enforcement/intelligence initiatives, to include the national SEARCH Board, NM RMIN executive Board and RISS representative, NMLiNX executive board and chair of said board, and agency contact for EPIC access.
